My husband and I and my baby daughter Natalie had the good fortune to meet Mickey in Woodbridge, VA...it was total chance as we had no idea he was appearing. I had to do some shopping...and lo and behold there was Mickey and I just about passed out....That was yesterday...Then today I went again... this time bringing my husband and baby. We were so excited and Mickey was just amazing. Gentle, sweet, caring...I could go on and on. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to be 'touched' by someone who helped bring joy to so many. It's not easy being 83yo and spending hours signing/speaking with so many people...Mickey made it look like fun and all I wanted to to was take him home.
The fact that charitable work is so dear to his heart makes him even more wonderful....I won't soon forget my weekend meeting Mickey! May God bless him!
