What a dissapointment it is to all the OZ fans not to get to meet them at THEIR events. I guess we will have to attend malls or car shows if we want to see them and hope they might come close enough to go. I for one am so upset about this and hope that many others will be too. The surviving Munchkins are older and some are very frail and won't be able to travel much longer. Our chances of meeting them are dwindling quickly. Our everything OZ club is meeting in Chesterton and the first time attending members are going to miss out on meeting Jerry and Karl, I feel so bad for them. Just not fair is it? The Chesterton festival will not be the same without Lollipop kid Jerry and our sweet little Karl. THey will be missed. I hope next year they will think of their OZ fans and attend more OZ events. On a nice note: we will get to see Margaret Pelligrini and Clarence Swensen of whom we can always depend on to come to OZ events because they love their OZ fans! BArb

Seems Jerry Maren and Karl Slover are not traveling to the OZ events any longer?
As a special treat Lewis Croft is traveling again. I got to see him at the Munchkin Convention in Harrisburg PA. He is so sweet but very frail. Meinhardt Raabe was there too and he is even more frail and cannot attend Chesterton.
We will also get to see lovely Donna Stewart-Hardway a child Munchkin......so don't miss out on getting to see these great OZ people...see you all at Chesterton in September!!
