Hey I agree..
Lets get the facts straight.
This is my first year to attend the event in Chesterton. I traveled 2200 miles to go there. Everyone with the city of Chesterton treated me GREAT!
While there I talked to so many people (not vendors or city people just regular people)attending the event.Everyone who talked to me was so confused and wondering what was going on. Why were a few munchkins kept inside a building with a "Manager" Charging more and making people buy something to get a picture. We are not talking about people abusing them. Just FANS wanting to share their excitement of what the Munchkins had done.
In my opinion ALL people who are making money off the event should contribute to the cost of the event. The cost was very high! clean up, police security 24 hours a day.
I can only hope that "the people" who have separated themselves from the event. Yes the "Chesterton Chamber of Commerce Event" will NOT continue to separate themselves and make this a family event that it has always been. But some people are greedy. I do NOT think it is the town of Chesterton, Indiana.
I may be an outsider, But this is what I saw and I put 100% of myself into that event, every single day.
P.S. I HAD A GREAT TIME. Thanks Chesterton and everyone who put in so much work to make it a GREAT event..
