Posted by john I just found this site. Last night, I was at the Ionia fair in Ionia, Mi & there was a traveling side show. There was a midget there & it was announced his name was Norbert. I shook his hand & when I got home I did a google search to see if there was actually a munchkin by the name of Norbert Terhune. I couldn't find anyone listed with that name, so initially I thought this was all made up until I saw a post on your message board from 9/22/03 from John who met him. So, I did meet an authentic munchkin & am delighted. Norbert moves along very slow now & cannot hear very well. They said he is 75 & apparently is not one of the more "popular" munchkins as he was likely an extra. I'm wondering if anyone else has met Norbert? I guess he has been traveling with these carnival shows since the 40's. Also, I know these questions have problaly been asked before but please bear with me: (1) Where are Dorothy's red slippers? I once read no one really knows and (2) How many known munchkins are still alive? Thank you and & I'm delighted I found your site. John
