With the epidemic of childhood obesity, one would think that our schools and society would wake up and smell the coffee.
When I was younger, we just cut out hearts,had heart-shaped candies and not a lot of food. But, that was another era, I guess. If each child had just one little cupcake and then ran out to the playground to exercise (as we did), that would go a long way in trying to turn the tables on this insidious condition of obesity.
