The problem is the exercise.
Here in the UK we are told not to go overboard on the exercise, particularly aerobic exercise as the body is not taking in enough calories to cope and will therefore hold onto every calorie it can.
We are told to do some swimming, maybe an aqua-aerobics class or some pilates and toning exercise but nothing else and certainly nothing like a full gym workout.
