He was born in Volos up north on the mainland, however, was raised in Athens. We have been to Mikonos and many other islands when we lived there for awhile. What a great experience that was for myself and our children. We hope to go for a visit next year or so. We visit new islands every time we go. The food is great and we love to eat it. We both can cook Greek food really well( I learned from his mother)and eat it too. They do not mind a well rounded girl. When we married I was a size 10 even after babies and when we lived there she thought I needed some meat on me. They think American girls are way to thin, the Greek men like some meat on the wives bones. I just have to much right now! Never a happy medium!!
