EASY??? I don't think so. That's why we had the Challenge. Beginning on Cambridge is NOT so easy. It IS darn hard!! It IS like going "COLD TURKEY".
Can you make dinner ahead of time and just serve it to your family for the first few days?
Some people call it willpower, I call it diversionary tactics. Just like Carol, you need to think about something more important than food right now. How about $300!
Never, say never. Have some oats in the evening as a meal (they fill you up) rather than for breakfast or a shake. Or have another shake the first few days (4 versus 3 per day). Keep thinking POSITIVE but, above all, keep the focus and keep the promise to yourself.
As Sharon Elaine said, "This IS boot camp!" If you went through pregnancy and labor and had children, you can get through this----JUST KEEP TRYING! The first 3 days are the hardest and then your body gets the message and your appetite is markedly decreased and you can sail through the rest of the way.
First, just commit for 4 days only, Becky. Trust me, it works!! The rest should take care of itself!
