You can do this Diane. Just take things one day at a time and focus on your goal. I don't sole source, I add a meal (chicken and salad) and I'm doing great this way. I fall into the same category as your friend in that I have developed health problems ... I'm having heart surgery next Tuesday. But I am sticking to my plan and focusing on my goal... which is to lose 50 pounds... 10 pounds at a time. Believe me, if I can do this, anyone can do this. Good luck.
