That reminds me of most of my many attempts at Weight Watchers over the years. Most WW's will confess to starving themselves on the day of the weight in, maybe even taking a diuretic or eating asparagus to get off a few onces, and then once the meeting was over we would all meet up for ice cream! In fact, at one time one of the meeting places was right next door to a Baskin Robbins ice cream parlor! The WW's door would open after the meeting and everyone made a bee line for BR.
I think that the show "Biggest Loser" has shown the importance of exercise and weight loss. Those people are in the gym up to 8 hours a day which is NUTS, but you can't argue with their results. They are all on a typical low calorie/low fat diet, but the exercise is what causes them to drop so rapidly. One thing that I have always found to be an interesting contradiction though is that 24 Hour Fitness sponsors that show which is the same gym I go to. When I go on Cambridge to drop a few pounds my trainer would get mad at me if I lost more then a pound a week because "It isn't safe". On the "Biggest Loser" they practically beat you up if you don't lose 10 or more a week!
Speaking of your trainer...if he is that hunkalicious how about posting a pic of him!
