Hi Pam,
Thanks for replying. Yeah, I have fallen into the habit of making jokes about my weight - a defence mechanism I think. The other thing I'm looking forward to is that when I board the flight to the Dominican Republic (where we meet the ship)my thighs won't touch those of the people in the seats next to me. Seems a strange thing to focus on but I've always found that particularly embarrassing before.
I have 84 lbs to lose - probably a bit of a tall order in only six months - but no harm in working towards that. What do you think? Lorn
