Hi Pam,
Over the last couple weeks i've visited this site in anticipation of maybe starting Cambridge... I'd considered Medifast (too expensive), Weight Watchers (for a 4th time!), Nutrisystem, Clean Eating... but I just can't think about food being prepared for 6 meals a day taking over my life. I don't remember how I found cambridge but remembered it from my teens and know I tried it, I remember mixing it in my diet coke!! I could actually remember the taste of it!
So after weighing my options, no pun intended, I ordered a 30 day FFL kit Thursday... it will be here on Tuesday and I'm so ready to stop letting food rule my life. After 23 years of marriage and raising 2 girls, I'm living alone for the first time in my life, so I have NO EXCUSES because I no longer have to prepare meals for others. I've tried reducing my calories/fat but my issue is always portion control and when you've gained and lost the same 80# over and over and hit that certain age your body just laughs at your attempts!
So I'm nervously excited about starting Cambridge on Wednesday. I'd like to come here and get support from others who are on the plan or maintaining so I'm grateful for your commitment to keep it updated.
I'm currently 224#, 5'7" so I could easily lose 70# and still be a healthy weight. Reading how so many of you have done it, I know i can too.
Again thanks for "being there" even though we've never met, I feel like there's a community I belong to and appreciate you and your bloggers.
