Hi All!
I've been doing well on Cambridge, but am not SS (on purpose, I've been adding a meal a day).
Yesterday I went for an hour power walk on a brand new trail someone in our walking group told us about. WOW it's sooo great! It's right by the water and gorgeous!!! (and I don't have to dodge traffic around my neighborhood any more! ha) I power walked 30 minutes, then turned around and power walked 30 minutes back. I checked the mileage online at this great site, and I walked OVER a 5K. Plus, this trail goes on and on for miles, and Kevin and I are going to walk 2 hours on it this Sunday, in training for our half marathon. (We have another 5K this Saturday, and I'm REALLY hoping to shave a few minutes off of my lowest time, which is 55:04)
PLUSSS, I got a YMCA membership today, woo hoo! I got a special rate (family membership) through February. We have a HUGE new Y, with tons of pools (I loooove to swim!) and of course all the workout stuff. But the main reason I'm excited is the indoor track! So we can keep training for our marathon through the winter!
Who would have thought, a while back, I'd be SOOOO excited about workout things? ha My family doesn't know who I am... haha
