I am still swollen, especially my lower abdomen and hips and thighs and wearing compression garments. It takes 6 months up to a year to see your final results but I am thrilled so far. This was all skin, no lipo. As I mentioned before the surgeon said I had nothing to suck out. I had no idea I was this size underneath it. I thought I still had a good amount to lose to get to my goal and I couldn't figure out why my body had stopped losing.
Buying clothes is FUN! I am in a size medium for most things unless it is too small in the bust or thighs. I still need to get them done, but that is way down the road.
If any of you think you may have something like this in your future, do yourself a big favor and be sure to lose ALL your excess weight before you go in. Most surgeons will operate on people that are still overweight, but the results will not be as good. It's very important that you work at getting physically fit and toned as much as you can. The better condition your muscles are in, the better it is for your surgeon to work with.
Now that Kim has moved to PA I no longer have a camera so I am not sure when I will be able to get some pics up, but I'll try to get my hands on one. I am technologically challenged so bare with me.
