Thanks, Theresa. I guess I'm just discouraged. I am so tired of the constant "fight" and knowing that it's never over.
Until my daughter was born in 1979 (I know--WOW!!) I was a skinny bean pole, no matter what, I did not gain. Then it all changed. Yes, my gall bladder was removed years ago. My thyroid is on the lowest of normal. I have been to 4 different doctors and all refuse to consider that I have hypothyroid issues. I have all but one of the symptoms (I'm going BALD for one!) but they all go by the test numbers--normal. (Both my mother and sister were/are on thyroid medication.)
All my siblings are "step" and I'm the only fat one. Genetics?
I guess I have to forget about the "why?" and deal with result and get on with it. Sort of like "life without parole!"
