Law of Diminishing Intent Posted by Yvonne on 3/9/2008, 11:23 am 68.197.232.X Good morning, people!! I am raring to go!! If one has a fire in their belly, there is nothing that can stop them. I just love Cambridge because I know everyday my fat is being burned and my appetite will be tamed. AnninEngland, Carol, Pam, Ruth have all achieved long-term success and I can, too!! Yesterday was a breeze (Day #1) and today I am ready to go again. There was a raging Nor'easterner last night here in Jersey playing havoc with houses and trees. The 50-60 mph winds uprooted two of our large pines which landed on top of our neighbors house. I know it will cost thousands and thousands of dollars to repair everything, BUT I don't care!! I am focused NOW on being healthy and losing this excess weight. Food is not going to make anything better. Because of the law of diminishing intent, i.e., one starts off intending to set the world on fire only to have less and less enthusiasm as the days go by, ending up with nothing and a loss of achieving their goal (very common occurrence), I have to be aware of my inherent weakness not to continue. I have thought about it a lot. Thus, I have told myself, "NOT THIS TIME"!! So----HEY HO---LET'S GO!!!  Post a Response

I got off track a bit this weekend cause I didn't feel 100% and thought food would help (so silly), but I"m back on track now.
