Question about Cambridge and the dentist Posted by Sharon Elaine on 3/13/2008, 5:57 pm 69.76.48.X Hi, I've been doing Cambridge with a meal and doing okay, but I want to do better, so I'm about to start SS again. I have a dental appt. on Monday morning and am having several teeth filled, so he'll be giving me several shots. Is it okay to do that on SS or is it dangerous? I wasn't even doing SS last week when they did one of my fillings, and after he gave me the shots, my heart raced a bit even then... it makes me nervous... does anyone know? There should be no problem Posted by Pam T on 3/13/2008, 8:06 pm, in reply to "Question about Cambridge and the dentist" 75.169.28.X It is not unusual to have a sensation of your heart racing when given any anesthetic or numbing agents. I know that when I go and use the gas I always have a few moments when I feel anxious and aware of my heart rate speeding up. Being on SS did not have anything to do with your experience. It was the drug. Remember, you are eating very healthfully now. The only thing you are not doing is filling your body with an over abundance of calories.  Post a Response
