PAM? THE CHALLENGE Posted by Yvonne on 3/19/2008, 5:39 am 68.197.232.X Good morning, Pam: Can we start this challenge this coming SUNDAY, MARCH 23rd? Could you mobilize the particulars by then? I am raring to go and, it appears, so are a lot of folks on the Board. Just give us the word and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!! The contest would end SATURDAY, APRIL 19th. If you don't think we can't start on Sunday, just let us know. If I don't hear back from you, may those who are interested in the Challenge send you their starting weights anyway? In GROUP TWO, for those who reach their goal in the month, the winner would be the person who lost the most to reach their goal. In GROUP THREE, for those in maintenance, the person who maintained the weight for the most days (or something like that). I'm open for suggestions in GROUP THREE. Please advise. Have a great day!! My family is going through some difficult things right now and I am also trying to get our day care up and running. I have not had a minute to spare. I will post the rules officially on Sat. Stress in our lives (((Pam)))) Posted by Carol on 3/19/2008, 10:37 am, in reply to "hi Yvonne" 168.213.1.X I don't know if this will help~ We all have stress in our everyday lives. I have found that doing things like journaling,reading,taking a walk on the beach,reading,some alone time, etc... really helps me manage my stress levels. In the past I would resort to self destruction with emotional eating. Now when I am feeling weak........I focus on using positive self talk and make the choice to say NO to old habits!  Post a Response

Keep positive and focus on making it a great day for YOU! This is how I am trying to start my mornings to set the stage for my day~ I attempt to take some quiet time each morning to mentally review the many positive things going on in my life,it truly gives my spirits a nice lift. I know when I do this,it usually lasts all day. And yes,YOU Can lose all your weight! Believe in NONIE!!!  Post a Response
