172.163.1.XI'm glad that you posted your feelings here on the board. You know we are not here to judge anyone. I was just like you.....I had years of "this is it, this is day one, I'm gonna do it this time" It is disappointing to fail or have the feeling of failure everyday.
Pam mentioned to me once that you don't need to look back and keep starting over when you slip up......So one day I started and that was it, no more labeling days....I just tried to make improvements everyday.
Put all of your focus into today only....let each day stand on it's own. You have a goal in mind....but each day must have your full attention and your full focus. Don't let your mind wander and wish for things, when you do that you lose the focus that you need to get through that moment or that day. After the completion of each day....you can be at one with yourself and celebrate your success! If you do this everyday you will not only reach your goal, but you will truly enjoy the journey.
Keep coming and posting...it makes a huge difference.

72.36.16.XI have been going through the same thing. I have lost a little during this challenge,,but I haven't been able to ss for more than a few days. I can blame it on stress,,,,but,,,I am suppose to be able to take control over my own body,,,so I have been told,,,,,,,,,,so, I am starting today,,,,,,,,,,,,let's just do this one day Diane,,,we can worry about tomorrow when it comes. - Re: Don't feel alone!!

168.213.1.XLet's remove words like: "I Can't", "It's impossible","I'm a failure",etc.. from our vocabulary. They are words for no possibility.

74.234.67.XDon't beat yourself up about slipping... I did it too. I get through about 3:30 every day and then BAM... the day is ruined. I chew sugar free gum till my jaw hurts, and it does help, but I still find a reason to sit down and eat. And I should have major motivation since I am having heart surgery on May 6!! I'm hoping that little voice gets lost for a while so that I can concentrate on losing weight and not cheating. I weigh in next wednesday at my cardiologists office and he expects 10 pounds off... I've fought with the same 6 pounds for the last month. But today I will start again and chew my gum and stay out of the kitchen. I just need to get through day one and I'll be fine. Positive thinking... I can do this!!
