Ketosis Posted by Becky on 4/29/2008, 8:29 am 74.234.67.X I don't sole source, I add a meal... but today my ketostix showed that I have a small amount of ketones.... How do I keep myself in ketosis once I get there?? I am a little surprised to see that I got there without SSing or low carbing, and I don't want to get out of it. At night I have a salad with fat free italian dressing and romaine lettuce along with a chicken breast or fish.  Post a Response

That IS low carbing Posted by Pam T on 4/29/2008, 9:51 am, in reply to "Ketosis" 75.169.28.X Salad and protein is very low in carbohydrates and will not effect your ketosis. Don't let the ketosis thing distract you too much. You will lose the weight whether you are in ketosis or not. It is just a nice side effect that helps with appetite control, but even if your stix do not show purple you are still losing.  Post a Response
