newbie Posted by spencer on 6/30/2009, 4:17 pm 75.6.6.X Newbie here... I'm actually on day 2. So far so good. I've actually snagged one of my mom's cans and am going strong on that. I really enjoy that (rich choc shake). This girl's gotta have her chocolate. I've noticed that there are soups to try. Anyone recommend which one is the best? No time like the present to start being nicer to myself. It all starts with the weight. I'm tired of it holding me back from my life and all the things I've always wanted to do and either not been able to do because I was too self conscious about the weight or just from the fear itself. I'm not going to let the fear dictate my life anymore. In fitting with the upcoming holiday, I'm declaring "independence"!! I'm going through a very confusing time in my life right now, but I'm trying to work through that. I know in the end it's what makes me happy and I want to be HAPPY!, and I'm not afraid of it anymore. I've denied myself the chance to be happy for so long and I'm finally ready to shed the "security", break out of my shell and let go.. I know I have a lot to lose, but I'm not looking at the big picture. Taking it one day, one pound at a time. I will eventually get there.  Post a Response

Was recently diagnosed with PCOS, endometriosis with hypothyroid, and really need to get the weight off, before the symptoms get too out of control, if that's possible. I don't wish to become pregnant, so that's not part of my problem. That time of the month is absolutely excruciating pain for me and I am trying to fight off another surgery at this point (I've already had 6)... So, I am hoping this is the key to getting a good chunk of the weight off and becoming "normal" again... and hoping to avoid surgical menopause at my young age of 35.  Post a Response

There is nothing that you are dealing with right now that can't be dramatically improved on or even cured with weight loss and exercise. Cambridge will work if you stick to it. Better then anything else out there in fact! Exercise is the other key to dealing with your hormonal issues. Meet with a trainer if you can and have them put you on an aggressive program. It will save your life and your parts! I take Kelp tablets every day for my thyroid. So far they seem to be helping.  Post a Response

As far as the soups go, the potato is the most popular and the chicken the least. The Rich Chocolate is definitely a winner! I have used it almost exclusively to lose this time around.
