It's been a tough week with all I've had going on with my day care kids, my own adult kids and my nephew that is fighting cancer. We've been desperately trying to raise the funds for his treatment, but we've fallen terribly short. It's been a very difficult situation and the stress is high.
It looks like we have some people here really in the zone! Keep posting. It inspires others and keeps you focused. Have a great weekend everyone.
Great going, Sue! I wish you the best with your knee surgery. I had toes on both feet operated on--I'm still on the mend. In my case, I'm told age (shudder!) has a lot to do with it and I'm sure the extra pounds are not an asset either. Good luck!
Good going Sue! Sorry to hear about your knee surgery but I'm glad you're recovering from it. It can take a long time to heal from it, so just keep positive. I've had two knee surgeries myself over the years and it was no walk in the park. Now I'm in need of knee replacement but the doctor wants us to hold out as long as possible due to my age. Getting the gel shots in April to see if it will help. I'm hoping that losing weight will help some, too. My doctor said that while it won't help my arthritis it will be very beneficial to be thinner when I do eventually have the knee replacement. It makes sense to me that losing weight will be beneficial regardless of the arthritis, though. I don't know what kind of surgery you had, but I'm sure that what you're doing will only help things in the long run. Keep up the good work!
