Good morning today is day 8 for me,I was wondering I have been constipated now for about three days is this normal.

You have to remember, there is very little volume going in to your digestive tract now so there will be very little to come out. Once the body has used up the nutrients there is only a minimal amount of residual fiber to accumulate. It can take a few days to have enough to stimulate a bowel movement.
If you truly feel constipated, you need to go but are straining, then all you need to do is get some 400mg magnesium citrate capsules and take about 2 to 3 before you go to bed at night. You will have a BM by morning. If it is too lose then you took too much. You can't OD on magnesium. You'll just get diarrhea.
Most cases of constipation are actually mag deficiencies. It is pretty common for people to be deficient in magnesium. It's an easy fix...no laxatives, fiber or stool softeners required. Speaking of fiber, be careful with that stuff. It can cause a bowel obstruction if not enough fluids are consumed along with it.
