Well, I went on my wonderful cruise on the Queen Mary 2 and believe it or not, I was not as happy as I know I could have been if I were thinner. But, it was booked and I went.
Now, that I have returned with a restful approach to life, I have set my sights on my birthday in November. I will be 65 and Medicare eligible. I want to turn back the clock and make 65 the "new" 45. I think I can do that with Cambridge.
Today is number one and hopefully by the end of the week, I will feel less bloated, more focused, and more determined.
Take care,

You will feel so great! I'm 60 and have been doing this for 10+ weeks and have about 25 lbs off and I can't believe the difference, it's rejuvenating! I still have 20 -25 lbs to go and will love keeping up with you and the others. I check the board each day for inspiration
It is a delight to read your post. 10+ weeks? WOW!! You are amazing.
This is my Day #2 and I usually plop down on the couch after I come home from a hectic day and then I head for the frig to whip me up something that I shouldn't have. But, today, I plopped down and then got up and went to the frig for my Chocolate Cambridge Dessert. Yummy!
It's 8 o'clock and that is the time after which I have sworn not to eat anything. So, I did it!! End of Day #2!! Yaaay!

Have you tried Suzie-Q's waffles yet? They are truly amazing! I make a double batch to fill the waffle iron and then freeze the extra two for later. These are so filling and satisfying. I pop mine in the toaster after after I make them to crisp them up. I also add 1 to 2 T of coconut oil to the batter.

Hi, Pam:
Thanks, but No, I haven't. Don't get me wrong, I don't think I will. Why? Because I have been trying to analyze my past failures with Cambridge and I have come to the conclusion and realization that I tried to still think of it as food. That was my problem.
Cambridge is a modified fast and folks like me need to toughen our resolve and try to release ourselves from the hold food has on us. So, waffles, pancakes, etc., are trigger foods for me and although they are Cambridge, they are too similar to real food and I need to get away from that for a while and just slurp down the shake and keep moving. Not think about it as a pleasurable or social activity, just nutrition and keep focused.
As you know, I will be 65 years old in November and I have been fat (more or less) for over 50 years!!! I can no longer blame my Dad or my husband or my surroundings or my hectic schedule, I have to take full responsibility for my own health and obesity.
