Posted by Colette on 9/15/2004, 11:54 pm It's a two-DVD set that features not only the actual reunion, but the opening acts, the rehearsal, and a slideshow full of very cool old photos (both onstage and behind the scenes) from the Blue Rose Cafe days. My favorite part is the rehearsal--I LOVE seeing how they went from not having played together for 27 years to putting on a polished show. You can see them figure out the harmonies, who's going to solo where, and just how the song started or ended when they played it years ago. The new Blue Rose Cafe DVD is such a great keepsake for a Kevin Welch fan. I've played it several times and find something new to enjoy every time.
