Thanks for your response.
I think my colon is now lazy due to the overuse of laatives. When I lived at home this wasn't an issue. I distinctly remember the problems started when I was using shared accommodation.
I am hoping to wean myself off and increase my fibre. Its just so horrible feeling bloated and uncomfortable and it feels so easy to just take the quick fix!
