i prefer to do that in absolute privacy as well, but obviously it's not always possible. i try to do it quietly. but the longer i end up withholding a bowel movement, the less audible my gas becomes. this would be plus, but sometimes the smell is horrific. i'm also anxious about my boyfriend noticing/saying something about it one day.
