ok the name thing probably not a great idea, but his outfit was great, and totally fitting with the idea of a 1950s-ish (I always think of the FMC as existing in their own little 1950sish universe) man in a hot climate. And I love the Maltese! Very very angry.

I'm so freaking tired of Mattel constantly doing this thing where, with their adult lines, they bow to idiotic mainstream pressure because they're not 'suitable for children', (which is bullshit btw). It happened with the lingerie dolls, (about the time I stopped buying Silkstones, I love dolly lingerie) and now they're doing it again.

The worst part is, the vast majority of collectors really liked him, a lot, even! But no, we must listen to the whacked out minority wingnuts and mainstream press to decide what adult collectors want. This is such crap.
