Extending my birthday celebration onto a second day, Philip and I head over to Epcot,
where the International Food & Wine Festival was in full swing.
A touch screen Coca Cola machine at Epcot, the first time we had ever seen one of these!
The lure of Lederhosen and Sauerbraten is an intoxicating mixture for me, so "The Biergarten" at the Germany Pavilion remains #1 on my list of Epcot's restaurants. There are many things about this restaurant that bring us back time and time again. The delectable and authentic German cuisine, the gorgeous ambience of a twilight German Biergarten where it's always Oktoberfest (though I rarely drink beer). And last but certainly not least, the wonderful German house band featuring it's charming and affable leader Nils. Nils and his gig at The Biergarten are clearly an entertaining match made in heaven, as he has happily been performing here for the last 18 years. On rare occasion when I happened to visit on his day off, while still wonderful, it just wasn't quite the same. In my book, Nils is the heart of The Biergarten.

Thanks to my beloved partner Philip and the tireless cast members of the Walt Disney World Resort,
it was another wonderful birthday spent at the most magical place on earth!
