I'm disappointed with the with the whole silkston line & how the conccepts where watered down (msg)

AS an adult collector, I dont always want kid friendly dolls. Sometimes I want dolls who dont reflect mid-American values. I loved the original Silkstones in their lingerie, however , complaining none collecter made them change the dolls to frumpy sleep wear. Ken was cool and very different. The name was a little over the top but, they could have easily called him something else or made him only available through the Barbie Collectors Club. I think its weird that Integrity has had two Transgendered dolls (one with ummmm.... a VA Jay Jay) and no one seems to bat an eye lash. But when people call Ken gay, he gets dropped. I'm more upset that they changed Caftan's skin color.
