I mean, c'mon, this is Mattel, after all. Not a company known for courting negative reactions by releasing obviously gay oriented male dolls. (Earring Magic Ken was an unintentional exception.)
I'm not surprised that they pulled the plug on this cutting-edge, risk-taking doll. A little disappointed, but not surprised.
Oh, and for the record, I probably wouldn't have bought him. But it would have been nice to have the option to do so.
