Five years have passed since Tyler went to heaven. We still miss his laugh, his joking comments, and his genuinely caring comments. We are five years closer to seeing him again. We know there hasn't been much activity on this message board in the past year, but we have heard from several that they still check it periodically. Our family is in the process of moving to different parts of the US and Canada. Preston and his dear wife Ela are in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ela arrived from the Philippines last year, and they had a wedding in June. Dick and I have moved to Madisonville, Texas and will start Landmen jobs on Monday. Trin and Mike Cole are moving to Fort Myers, Florida in July, and Vanessa will start an accounting job at Anderson University on Monday and may move there later. Tyler would have been off somewhere on some challenging job, but would have been a part of everyone's lives. He hasn't seen the last two grandbabies belonging to Mike and Trin: Sawyer-2, and Camden- 8 mo. He was such a good uncle to Maizie and Bryton. The day Tyler died was Mother's Day and Vanessa's birthday also, just like tomorrow. Vernane has a Mother's Day card that he struggled to sign the day before he died. He never spoke disrespectfully to her while he was a child or teenager, which in looking back, was remarkable. We hope that his short life still influences those who knew him or have read his web site. Love, Tyler's Family
