Posted by Tyler Things are going as planned. I've been in here a week and made it through the first 3 days of the chemotherapy drug Fludaribine and the 4 days of Busulfan. Today was the only day that I puked and I did about 3 times, but I feel good now. The family was up here last night and today, and we ordered pizza and played cards tonite. They're going to be sticking around until tomorrow, and Vanessa is going to stay with me until Wednesday after her cell donation. She's bein' a trooper, giving herself 4 shots a day. The only bump in the road so far was that my liver biopsy showed an excess amount of iron in my liver, so they did an MRI on me to determine how bad it was. It turned out that the iron levels in my heart were fine and the levels in my liver were moderate, so nothing serious. Up until now, I've had quite a few visitors. My brother stayed with me through the first weekend, then a friend from AU, Jason Yockey, visited me that Sunday. On Monday Mike and Trinda surprised me and Mike ended up staying for two whole days, so that was cool. The next day, my pastor came by to visit for quite a while. The following day Shirley Ma, an ex-volunteer and friend from the first transplant, stopped in (sorry I wasn't up for much that day, Shirley) and then Friday the fam got here. So far I haven't really been alone at all and with people writing about seeing me during Thanksgiving and New Years and a few days in January, I'm not concerned that I will be lonely in the time coming up. Anyway, I haven't gotten too much accomplished in here. I have done some e-mailing and chatting on IM, but I've been watching too much TV and playing video games. It's all part of Project: Don't Die, though, so mission objectives are being completed thus far. Well, thanks for reading up. Talk to you later, Tyler
