Posted by Tyler I haven't written lately, so I'm not sure who's aware of this, but I was sent home from the hospital a week ago. I'm doing very well right now at home, and after needing to make the trip to the hospital 3 times a week for checkups during that first week, I now only have to go to the hospital 2 times a week. I'm basically confined to the house, though, so I've been playing with my niece and nephew and doing a lot of reading. I recently came across this quote by G.K. Chesterton on courage that I thought was quite compelling. "Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of a readiness to die . . . He [a courageous person] must desire life like water and yet drink death like wine." I think that's a very interesting way to put it. And now for silly pictures of me removing my leftover hair with duct tape and other pics from my time in the hospital. Thanks for taking the time to peruse. I'll post again before Christmas with news on my bone marrow biopsy that I'm going to get next week. I'll see you all soon, Tyler p.s. Happy Thanksgiving
