Posted by Tyler I've just received news that Adam Marchal isn't doing very well. For those of you who don't know, Adam is the guy I interviewed at the end of the documentary, and for those of you who haven't seen the documentary, he was diagnosed in 1999 with lymphoma. He's since underwent chemotherapy, two bone marrow biopsies, a DLI, a great deal of GVHD, and was actually doing fine receiving an antibody treatment. I knew something was up when I didn't see him online for a while, and then I just heard that the doctors found a tumor on or near his heart. The news I have isn't the most exact, but as I understand, he has very little time and an attempt to reduce and remove the tumor may not be worth it. I know many of you don't know Adam that well, and I really don't either, but I do understand quite a bit of what he must be feeling. I can only hope that he is also experiencing the peace and hope that I have. It's what I'm praying for anyway, and so those of you who feel like you should pray, keep that in mind as well as his family who has really been hit hard and is going through rough times with all of this.
