I think it's about time we inform the Club of the ridiculous bet between the two of you....
Basically Russell is of the opinion that MJ (not wacko jacko...) is far better than WA. Matt disagrees citing WA's exploits over the years as unsurpassable....
So, the bet....
Matt will pay Russell a tidy sum of £* if MJ has, at the end of his career, better career stats than WA (this including bowling, batting, catches, in Tests and One-Dayers; clearly Twenty20 won't count). Russell will pay Matt is MJ falls short...
*hidden deliberately to hide the utter ridiculous sum of money that is actually on the table here!
