If there was a scale, good old Mitch would be at one end and Sir Akram at the other.
Like myself, he runs in slings it down and tries to sling it down as fast as possible. On the right hard & bouncy wicket he might take a few (South Africa recenty)and once he gets a few he responds due to him being a confidence bowler.
Chubs & Perv are nearer the Sir Akram end of the scale, as week in & week out they will bowl well & beat the batsman irrespective of the wicket. However, add the right conditions and they become even more potent.
Johnson & Akram can both be devastating on their day, but the former requires too many variables to be in his favour to perform.
Johnson also has not won the bowling trophy on 4 occasions for Ploughmans CC.
