Not sure about you lot, but I personally like to watch sport to see who is the best, watch athletes in their prime showcase their abilities and pit them against the best another country has to offer.
Sometimes you win and it feels great, sometimes they win and they feel great.
When I think of the money I've dropped on a ticket, I don’t see the spend as justified when we win and feel ripped off when we lose - I like the competition, the spectacle of it all.
This S hit is not sport. A bunch of tossers that have been caught up in the marketing of the game and believe it’s the winning that matters at all costs. Frankly, if I were on the "beneficiary" team (AUS) I would be ashamed, and given these men have made a reasonable show of themselves this series, I suspect they are ashamed.
This smacks of the All Blacks being poisoned in 1995. Time to grow up lads, in the real world we've all gone past schoolboy antics and have real-world concerns to deal with - and we use sports as a distraction from these.
I'm with Steve in hoping like hell no one needed the fire service that night.
Totally embarrassed to be a cricket supporter today.
