I can't remember which paper it was in but Michael Vaughan said that if he was asked to write a similar document, the only thing he'd change is some of the words used...
I don't know about Matt Prior's ego, for instance, but factors such as Jimmy being liable to go "off the boil" when the ball isn't swinging is well known and we are an inherently "soft" side, as was demonstrated on Friday / Saturday when things started going against us. Where was the fighter or the calm head to take control of the situation? (vis the West Indies tour for a second example...)
And don't suggest KP would have been that person...
