must be the worst case of blatent handball i've seen in a long time...nevermind the fact that it was even allowed to stand. he stopped it going out with his his wrist and if that wasn't bad enough, he then guided it back in with his hand!!
Ronnie Whelan was quite philoshpical after the game - talking about how all footballers try to get away with stuff (diving, handball, fouling off the ball, etc) and that's just football and sometimes you do what you do to succeed without thinking about it at the time or the consequences. I tend to agree slightly - mostly at football you act instinctively and if its against the law then usually you get pulled up for it and no harm done...so therefore as the ref (and linesman) missed it, he should be blamed more than Henry imho. Yes Henry is a c*nt as that superb Wiki page says but i'm sure he, like Maradona before him, will have absolutely no regrets about what he did either now or in the future. They're in the World Cup and that's all that matters to them. Big shame that Ireland are on the rough end of it though...could you imagine the uproar here if England were sent out for the same thing for example?
