I believe that any child that is truly ready for college should be able to advocate for himself or herself. By this time your child should fully understand the nature of his/her disability and whatever accommodations may be needed. Rather than attending the meeting, I would suggest simply having a preliminary discussion with your child to be sure he/she is appropriately prepared.
