Has anyone tried the Learning Rx program with success. I have a 10 year old son who appears to have visual processing disorder. His handwriting is also very poor. He has also been diagnosed with an eye convergence problem has a hard time with tracking when there are other visual stimuli present. His verbal IQ and spelling are above average. He can comprehend facts well that someone else reads aloud to him, however when he reads silently to himself, his comprehension is almost nonexistent! I have had him on medication for ADHD, with terrible side effects. I'm so tired of Doctors trying to put him on medication when I feel like there is an underlying cognitive problem. I have looked into the learning Rx program similar to PACE as a last resort! Can anyone help?
