I would recommend getting a male rat. My male ratty, Blaze s as active as a female, but twice as friendly. I can't promise that all the male rats are like this, but my ratty Blaze is. He's just as active as a female, and just as cuddly and friendly as a male should be. He's the best! Youcan get whatever gender you want though, I'm just saying. Oh yeah, we also have some female rats at our house, and they are alot more timid, plus they are alot smaller. Blaze is around 7 monthes. We have a rat who is almost four and is a female. Blaze is about twice her size already! Well, just tryin' to help you out!
