Hi, I think she will calm down after her babies are weaned. I have three female ratties one of which I got from a pet store and she was a little nippy when I first got her. It is a very stressful time bringing them to a new home and on top of that she is pregnant, give her time and patience, female rats are rarely nasty she just may not have been handled and needs time to get to know and trust you.
