when i got my rat she wouldnt stop biting me for about a month and wouldnt even let me near her let alone hold her. so i wore rubber gloves and but a dab of mustard on the tips of my fingers and put my fingers in the cage, when she bit me she ran to the other side of the cage and has never bit me since.
