I can't imagine your other girl will get that territorial as your new introduction will be so young but it's best to introduce them in a neutral territory, i.e. a bath tub or a bed. If you introduce them a couple of times and see what happens and if all goes well then try putting them into a cage together. keep an eye on them for the first few hours (at least) and see how they get on with each other. There may be a few fights to sort out who is "the boss" but if you see any blood or any injuries them separate them immediately and start the whole introductions over again. first off all everyone that runs the site (i.e. me) says thanks so much for the nice comments!!
It is very important to clean the cage out and change it as much as possible to the older rat doesn't feel like she is being forced to share her territory but instead she is moving somewhere new with another rat!
Time and patience are the main things here!
