Vanilla essence (used for cakes) is a good scent distuingisher, put a dab on their genitals, they may snff al lot, but it's because they'll smell the same!
Best of luck. Girls can fight nastily, it might be best to get a slightly older ratties say 7-9 weeks old as it won't be beated to a pulp, it think a smaller rattie might get mistaken for food.
