I have tried curling with back and butt on wall lowers the weight but takes all the swing out of things. I have also done heavy trap and shoulder work shrugs, military press. I tried the swing with over load but didn't make it anywhere with that. I am by no means a great curler but have gone from 97lbs to 137 in a 12 week program. Mainly did the wall curls, shrugs heavy, military press, preacher curls, spider curls and even some concentration curls. I have found for me I need to use more reps than heavy weight to make an increase. I have used the same with my son that started doing bear bar 17lbs one rep max in 12 weeks he just did 32lbs at a 66lbs body weight. Again iam by no means an expert but chris spirrison is the man to ask.
