We came out to Mt Pleasant and checked out the meet. Had a great time, but had to leave early and didn't have a chance to talk to anyone. The USA Nationals in Dallas Jun 4-5 will be our first ever powerlifting competition and I've got a few questions. Looking for info on how to be prepared. I've done some research online and think I'm locked on as far as bring some food for the day and what equipment we need. Are there specific weights in kilos we need to choose to match the weight plates and our lifts, or can we just show up with kilo equivalents for our lifts in lbs? Our gym doesn't have kilo weights. For the squat, can we just measure our squat rack and bring that in inches to set the rack to our desired height? Anything else anyone can think of so we're not too lost would be greatly appreciated.
