Posted by Xwaitress of Dim T TW on January 30, 2007, 3:24 pm, in reply to "DIM T Tunbridge wells" £3.75 an hour...which we get taxed, because apparently the tips we recieve make it go over minimum wage? Not so. And the management there are awful! Some of the waitresses were fired for being too chatty. But yet they encouraged us to talk to customers...and go through a frickin routine pushing on orders onto our customers.... ....so I'm sorry for your waiter but he was probabley trying to balance 7 tables at once...and being paid nothing for it.
Well, I have to say, as I used to be a waitress at the said resturant, yes the sea food laska is very good. But most of the food there you can get easily at any chinese resturant...the dim sums are overpriced (for the price you pay for 3 dim sums we buy a whole box) and pay there is crap!
